Joey Gossett is a children's author, educator, and ministry volunteer from East Tennessee whose passion for helping children learn and grow has shaped both his career and his writing. For much of his adult life, Joey has worked with children through Sunday School classes, church youth groups, worship ministry, and special education programs. He also served for five years as a teacher's assistant in the special education department of his local public school system.
Inspired by his faith and his love for storytelling, Joey created Piggy Pack Clubhouse, a series of heartwarming Christian children's books that teach biblical values through memorable characters, engaging adventures, and relatable life lessons. His stories encourage young readers to explore themes such as friendship, honesty, courage, kindness, faith, and family. Titles in the series include Happy Gotcha Day, The Shiny Red Apple, The Big Storm, Brave Enough to Stand, and A Piggy Pack Nativity.
Joey published his first children's book, The Littlest Giraffe, in 2024 and has continued expanding the Piggy Pack Clubhouse world with stories designed to entertain, inspire, and strengthen children's faith. In 2022, he also fulfilled a lifelong dream by becoming a certified professional Santa Claus, bringing joy and encouragement to children and families throughout the Christmas season.
When he's not writing, Joey enjoys serving his community, connecting with young readers, and spending time with his wife and their beloved dogs in East Tennessee. Through every book, his goal is to create stories that families can enjoy together while sharing timeless values rooted in Christian faith.
